Configuring the Clock Mode of ASMi-52CD

 To configure the clock mode:

1. In the LRS-24 View window, select the ASMi-52CD card.

A blue border outlines the selected card.

2. Right click and select Configuration > Card Parameters.

3. In the Clock Source field, choose an option from the drop-down list (Internal-

Central, External-Central, System-Central, or Receive-Remote).

Note for

ASMi52 family, External is selectable for DTE=E1 only.

4. In the Clock Source Port field, from the drop-down list, choose any of the

modems listed (. This field is enabled only if the value displayed in the “Clock

Source” field above is one of the following: External, Local-External, Remote-

Receive, Receive. For ASMi-52CD cards, this field is enabled for DTE=E1 only.

5. In the SHDSL Transmission Mode, choose an option from the drop-down list

(Annex A or Annex B). This field is available for ASMi-52CD cards, and is

enabled for the Central Unit (where the modem port line Clock Source is

Receive only).

6. Click <Set> to implement the changes.

Configuring SHDSL Line Parameters

 To configure SHDSL Line Parameters:

1. In the LRS-24 View window, double click on the relevant ASMi-52CD card.

2. Select a modem by clicking its radio button.
