RADview-HPOV/TDM SNMP Management System
Both electrical and fiber optic modem cards can be managed by the
RADview-HPOV/TDM SNMP management system. All cards in the hub, except for
ASM-40CD, have remote control abilities for monitoring and/or controlling remote
units, and several types of cards contain an internal SNMP agent. In some cases,
managed cards can work opposite non-manageable modems.
RADview-HPOV management is available for modules with or without an
integrated SNMP agent, via the SNMP Control Module (CM-2). The RADview-HPOV
station is connected to LRS-24 via an integrated Ethernet connection on the
CM-2 module; CM-2 acts as a proxy SNMP agent for those cards without an
agent.
RADview-PC/TDM Management System
The RADview-PC/TDM management station communicates with LRS-24 using
out-of-band communication via Ethernet.
The RADview-PC/TDM has a windows-based Graphical User Interface (GUI)
platform for LANand WAN networks. The graphical user interface allows
configuration with easy-to-use operations on graphical representations of the
hub. The configuration can be performed at the port, card, hub and network
levels.
