6-2 Managing System Alarms LRS-24 RADview/TDM
Masking alarms at the system level overrides specific card or modem alarms
masks. (If you do not designate masking at the system level, then the specific
card or modem Alarm mask applies.)
To mask LRS-24 system alarm traps:
1. Select the system by clicking inside the LRS-24 View window, without
selecting a device. Ensure that no border surrounds any of the modem cards.
2. Right click and select Fault > Alarms > Mask.

3. Select or clear the relevant check boxes adjacent to the modem slot numbers.
Only the check boxes of slots of installed cards are enabled. Other slots are
disabled (appear gray).
4. Click <Set> to implement the updated list of masks.
Listing Alarms
To list/view active alarms per specified LRS-24 slots:
1. Select the system by clicking inside the LRS-24 View window, without
selecting a device. Ensure that no border surrounds any of the modem cards.
2. Right click and select > Fault > Alarm > List.
The System Alarms dialog box opens, displaying slots with active alarms
(On) and slots with inactive alarms (--). Only slots in which cards have
been installed are listed. Other slots are grayed out.
