Table 4-6. TFTP File Transfer Operation Parameters
Parameter Possible Values / Remarks
Node Name The name of the agent. By default, the name of the selected node is displayed.
IP Address The IP address of the agent. By default, the IP address of the selected node is
displayed.
Product Name Product Names of the selected nodes
Server's IP Address The IP address of the server, as assigned for this mode in the SWDL database.
File's Location The location of the file. By default, the UNIXPC Windows user home location is
displayed, according the type of station running the present application
Last Operation Last selected operation for each node:
S/W Download Only, S/W Download &Reboot, Config. Download Only,
Config. Download & Reboot, Config. Upload, Additional SW Download Only,
Additional SW Download & Reboot, Statistics Upload, User Download Only,
User Upload, Reset Only
Last Status Last TFTP status of each Node. The default is blank.
[All Nodes Operation...] Performs operation for all nodes in list
[Selected Nodes] Opens a selection list box to choose operation for selected nodes
[Add from Map] Opens a selection list box, containing all SNMP nodes on map
[Add…] Opens a dialog box for Adding a new agent (node)
[Remove] Removes an agent
In order to upgrade SW, you should reboot the agent after you have downloaded
SW to the agent. In some cases, you may want the to reboot (reset) the device only
at a specific time. Therefore, when required, you can select an operation that
includes Download Only for file download only, an operation that includes
Download & Reboot for complete software upgrade or an operation of Reset Only
for rebooting at a specific time after having successfully downloaded the software.
