4-62 Automatic Configuration Upload
TFTP Settings
To set TFTP:
1. From the Options menu select TFTP Settings.
2. Enter File’s Location or press <Browse> to select File’s Location.
3. Enter values for Total Timeout and Retry Timeout.
4. Press <Set>.

Parameter Possible Values / Notes
TFTP Server IP Due to UNIX security, it must be the local computer
File’s Location The path where all upload directories are created and saved
For UNIX: File's Location must be an existing directory under TFTP Root
For PC : File's Location must be an existing directory
Default value: TFTP root
Total Timeout (sec)
1–600
Default value = 60
Note: Agent tries to perform file TFTP upload (number of retries) during this
time (maximum). If no snmp_trap is received during this time – the “Time-Out”
report is written to Data Base.
Retry Timeout (sec)
1–120
Default value = 15
Note: Agent tries to perform file TFTP upload (only 1 retry) during this time
(maximum). If no success – it tries again, until “Total Timeout” is finished.
Retry timeout must be less than Total timeout.
