RADview-HPOV/ATM User’s Manual Chapter 2 Installation
Installation 2-3
Informix Installation
1. Log in as user root.
2. Type: csh
3. Insert the RADview-HPOV/Database CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
4. Type: cd /cdrom/cdrom0/informix
5. Type: ./informix.install
6. When prompted, select the Informix home directory path.
7. When prompted, approve the system reboot. During the Informix installation
the /etc/system file is automatically updated. The installation script prompts
you to approve a system reboot, so that the modification can take affect.
Make sure you close all running applications before initiating the Informix
installation script.

8. When the system comes up, log in as user root.
9. Type: csh
10. Type: cd /cdrom/cdrom0/informix
11. Type: ./informix.install
