4-82 RADview Licensing Function
Consulting the above RADview package bundled license table we find that:
• RADview-PC packages include a 200-point free-of-charge bundled license.
Thus, the license you need to order = [(2x60) + (20x5) + (4x10)] –(200) = 60.
Although the actual license size that is needed to manage the given network is
260, and since 200 points are bundled free-of-charge within the RADview PC
package, you only need to order 60 license units.

License Service Manager
The License Service Manager application is a tool for RADview managed elements
that are used to configure the License Server.
The License Service Manager can:
• Add/remove license files received from RAD
• Manage installed licenses
• View expiration dates
• View a list of all managed elements in the network, and their most recent
access date/time
• View the Equivalent Node Weight (ENW) of managed elements.
Opening the Program
For UNIX stations, you must log into the system before opening the License Service
Manager application.
To open the License Service Manager for UNIX:
• Select: Misc > RADview OV > License Service Manager.
To open the License Service Manager for PC:
• Select: Programs > Network Manager > General > License Service
Manager.
